Hi! I'm Julianne, a licensed clinical psychologist passionate about helping high school students, college students, graduate students, and young professionals navigate the anxiety that comes with the ups and downs of school, work, and relationships.
Finding the right match with a therapist is so important. In session, I take a collaborative approach. That means together, we will work to understand how your emotions (like anxiety) work or don't work for you, and find ways to change the emotion cycle if it's getting in the way of life.
I'm also proud to be a scientific researcher at McLean Hospital/Harvard Medical School and have published over 35 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters on improving therapy by better understanding how treatments work and for whom they work best! As both a therapist and a clinical scientist, I am passionate about providing therapy that is backed by the latest scientific research, and am transparent about using science to our advantage in therapy.
I'm a born and raised Bostonian and completed my undergraduate, masters, and doctoral training all at Boston University. I completed my pre-doctoral clinical internship at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University and my post-doctoral fellowship at McLean Hospital/Harvard Medical School.
If you are considering trying therapy for the first time or haven't had a great fit with a therapist before, please ask me all the questions and share concerns you might have, and we can see if this is a good fit.
